Hello, this is greenteawannabe.
This past week, the weather in Gwangju was far from pleasant.
It rained continuously for days, and on Thursday, over 400mm of unprecedented rainfall caused flooding in many areas.
Now, starting today, a heatwave advisory has been issued. What a fickle and harsh weather pattern we’re experiencing.
To beat this intense summer heat, the Shincheonji Peter Tribe added a cool and energetic surfing performance to their existing show, Life Bus 9010, captivating the audience.
Let’s take a closer look at what this updated performance had to offer.
Over 1,500 Gwangju citizens attended the event, temporarily escaping the heat while enjoying both fun and inspiration.
In addition to the signature highlights of the Life Bus 9010 — including the passionate cheerleading performance and the musical that follows the life journey of one person — a refreshing surfboard performance was newly added, making the show more dynamic and exciting.
Beyond the performance itself, the event booths were also designed with a summer theme.
There were photo zones set in green forest backdrops, tropical beach-themed photo spots, and more — allowing guests to capture fun memories.
Among the booths, the DIY gel ice pack station, perfect for summer use, received particularly positive feedback.
While this version of Life Bus 9010 was summer-themed, we hope to see seasonal versions for autumn and winter in the future.
That wraps up this review. Thank you for reading!
