[Shincheonji Sports Activities] Shincheonji Taekwondo Team won 11 people at the Kim Yong-un Cup in the international competition

Taekwondo is a representative sport that comes to mind in Korea along with archery and fencing.

From July 5 to July 8, the Shincheonji Church Taekwondo Team won 11 awards at the 2025 Kim Yong-un Cup International Open Taekwondo Competition.






The Kim Yong-un Cup is an annual competition held to honor the late President Kim Yong-un, who played a big role in globalizing Taekwondo and registering it as an official Olympic sport.

It's not a small-scale competition because it's a competition where people from all over the world who love Taekwondo gather.

This competition is said to be a competition to evaluate excellent players with Poomsae and breaking down.

On the first day of the competition, 11 out of 12 players from the Shincheonji Taekwondo team won the prize.






Following the news of the last baseball team, I think the Shincheonji Church's sports team is a team that is good at faith and sports.

The effort is great because we are cultivating strong sportsmen who are physically competent while working hard to create a mentally healthy believer.
