Hello, this is greeenteawannabe.
In our country, there's a culture where people believe there's a reason why certain places attract large crowds.
For example, before visiting somewhere, people often check reviews first. They also tend to trust and visit places with long lines or shops that, though old, have endured for a long time, assuming there's a reason for their longevity.
As the saying “crowded with people” suggests, this year too, Shincheonji Church held its 116th Graduation Ceremony and the International Revelation Lecture. Approximately 50,000 people graduated at this year's ceremony, and about 500 religious figures from around the world attended the International Revelation Lecture.
The November issue of Shincheonji's magazine covers key testimonials from attendees of these major events. Let's take a look at what the reactions were like.
If we were to summarize the main reactions of this event's participants in one phrase, it would be gratitude for having mastered the Book of Revelation.
Particularly striking was the sight of religious leaders from around the world discussing and finding harmony through a single scripture: the Book of Revelation in the Bible.Religious leaders are people who believe in their own god and their own teachings.
Even within the same religion, different denominations and sects often have differing teachings and tend to reject each other. Seeing such religious leaders engaging in dialogue and proclaiming “We are one” was truly impressive.
If the root cause of conflicts between religions and denominations is ultimately that they worship different gods and follow different teachings, then conversely, comparing these teachings to realize that truth is one could resolve such conflicts.
Participants who received education on the Book of Revelation unanimously expressed gratitude for having mastered its teachings.
This gratitude is especially profound among the 116th graduating class. Having mastered the Book of Revelation, graduates who previously struggled to find meaning or purpose in life now understand God's will and purpose through their comprehension of Revelation. Realizing they are included within that will and purpose, they feel gratitude for receiving a new purpose: to participate in God's will and purpose.
God's will and purpose, as described in Psalm 107, involve rescuing people from situations where death seems inevitable. To participate in this means to be saved. In this way, Shincheonji Church rescues people from tribulation and hardship through the Word, uniting religious people from all nations to advance the work of peace.
