[Shincheonji Magazine] Original values favored by Koreans lead to MOU achievements with over 900 domestic churches for sharing the Word.

Hello, this is greenteawannabe.

It seems Koreans have a particular fondness for the original.

For example, restaurant signs often promote the authentic taste with terms like “original” or “main branch.”

Additionally, products emphasizing authenticity, like luxury brands, are very popular in Korea.

Why do Koreans love the original?

One reason is that Koreans value sincerity. Even though society has become harsher than before, Koreans still look for and recognize genuine sincerity in others.

Looking back on 2025 for Shincheonji Church, this year saw an unusually high number of pastors participating in events like the Word Grand Assembly and frequently interacting with Shincheonji Church. As a result, approximately 900 churches domestically (*Note: approximately 14,000 overseas) signed MOUs for word exchange. Through the 2025 Magazine, we will examine the sincere words of Chairman Lee Man-hee, who conducted four Word Grand Assemblies this year.

The Shincheonji Church held a remarkable four Word Grand Assemblies in 2025 alone. Each time, pastors ranging from at least 100 to as many as 500 attended to listen to the Chairman's lectures on the Book of Revelation.

Why did these pastors participate in Shincheonji's Word Grand Assemblies?

The reason is that only Shincheonji testifies to the prophecies and realities of the Book of Revelation. Approximately 2,000 years ago, the Apostle John, a disciple of Jesus, received a revelation from Jesus while exiled on the island of Patmos. He recorded the events that would occur at the Second Coming of Jesus. That record is today's Book of Revelation.

As believers who hope for the Lord's return, the Book of Revelation is naturally the most hopeful and intriguing content. Ironically, however, pastors are very reluctant to mention or preach on the Book of Revelation. The reason is that its content was too difficult to understand.

Amidst this situation, only Shincheonji Church has consistently conveyed a confident message to the religious community: “Verify for yourselves that we alone can testify to both the true meaning of the prophecies in the Book of Revelation and their actual fulfillment.” Furthermore, a significant factor has been the recent shift within the religious community itself. Rather than immediately labeling us as heretical or cult-like simply because we differ from their denominations, there is now a growing atmosphere urging people to directly verify for themselves if the Book of Revelation, which truly offers hope, is indeed being testified to.

Through the Word Grand Assembly, Shincheonji Jesus Church Chairman Lee Man-hee declares, “Let us verify whether I am one who has added to or subtracted from the Book of Revelation, or one who has mastered it—let us confirm who the ‘I’ spoken of in Revelation truly is.” He conveys this message with conviction: “If you are a believer, you must have the confidence that you yourself will go to heaven through this word.”

To say one must have the confidence to go to heaven—it seems like a statement only someone with tremendous confidence could make. The reason such confidence is inevitable is because the revelatory word of Shincheonji Jesus Church is an authentic word—the revelatory word testified by the promised shepherd, the Chairman, who received and ate the opened book of revelation in Revelation chapter 10.

The Figurative Sea, Fishermen, Net, Fish, and Ship — Reading the World Through Biblical Symbols

Lesson 11 of the Shincheonji Online Bible Seminar Many readers of the Bible have paused at passages describing seas, fishing nets, ships, and fish, sensing that these images mean more than they first appear. Why does Scripture repeatedly return to scenes of fishermen casting nets into the sea? Why do major prophetic events unfold on ships, rivers, or vast waters? Lesson 11 of the Shincheonji Online Bible Seminar takes a closer look at these familiar images and invites viewers to read them not as simple stories, but as carefully layered symbols that describe the spiritual condition of the world and humanity’s place within it. The seminar begins by exploring the figurative meaning of the sea. While the physical sea is a place where many waters gather, its water cannot sustain life. In the same way, the Bible describes a spiritual sea—a world filled with countless voices, teachings, and doctrines. Drawing from passages such as Daniel 7 and Revelation 17, the lecturer explains that the sea...
