Remembrance about a victim, one youth of shincheonji church , who are sacrificed by the persecution of religious oppression

The issue of forced conversion and its severe consequences continue to draw attention.
The 6th anniversary of the death of the late Ji-in Gu has recently this matter back into focus.
she tragically lost her life at the young age of 27, falling into a brain-dead state due to assault by her family. This case starkly illustrates the grave outcomes of forced conversion, which has been carried out by forced conversion pastors greedily chasing after money in Korea.

Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony, Peter Tribe Gwangju Church, commemorated her by setting up a memorial booth, reflecting on her hope for the realization of 'freedom of religion' as stated in the Constitution of  South Korea and her advocacy against forced conversion pastors and for the enactment of a law prohibiting religious discrimination.

According to the Human Rights Association for Victims of Coercive Conversion Programs, there were 77 cases of force conversion against Shincheonji Church members last year alone, with a total of 2019 cases from 2003 to 2023. This averages to about 96 cases annually, predominantly targeting women and the youth. These instances often involve illegal acts such as kidnapping, confinement, and assault.

Mr. Lee Jung-woo, leader of the Peter Tribe of Shincheonji, criticized the tendency to dismiss forced conversion as merely a religious issue, despite it being a clear violation of the law in South Korea. He emphasized the importance of raising awareness about the reality of coercive conversion as 'religious counseling' and the need to eradicate such practices.

Representative Lim Eun-kyung of the Gwangju-Jeonnam branch of the Human Rights Association for Victims of Coercive Conversion Programs stresses that forced conversion is not just a religious issue, but a serious violation of constitutional rights and human rights, leading to family breakdown and other societal problems. She reiterated the importance of respecting religious freedom and human rights in our society.

These cases reveal how religious freedom is being threatened in our society. Forced conversion is an act that severely violates individual beliefs and freedom, necessitating urgent societal awareness and legal responses. These incidents remind us of the importance of respecting religious freedom and human rights in our society

Cheongju Word Seminar: Over 700 Pastors Gather to Learn the Truth of Revelation

On November 11, the “Testimony on the Fulfillment of Revelation and Prophecy: Shincheonji Word Seminar” was held at Shincheonji Cheongju Church in Chungbuk, South Korea, creating a significant impact. Over 700 pastors from established denominations attended the event, seeking deeper understanding of the Bible, particularly Revelation.  Why Are Established Denomination Pastors Attending? Pastors who attended the seminar shared unanimous praise for the teachings. One pastor, Mr. Kim, remarked, “The teachings here are unlike anything I’ve ever encountered in my denomination. It made me reflect on my shortcomings as a pastor and realize the need to relearn the Word.” This sentiment highlights how Shincheonji’s teachings provide not just satisfaction but also profound spiritual resonance. Their systematic approach to the Bible offers a comprehensive understanding of not only Revelation but also the entirety of Scripture, giving attendees a perspective they could not find elsewhere. [Shincheonji Elementary Seminar Lesson 3 Review] Why Are the Secrets of Heaven Hidden in Parables?

Following the previous session, today I’m reviewing Lesson 3 of the Shincheonji Elementary Seminar, titled “The True Meaning of the Parables of the Secrets of Heaven.” Through this lecture, I gained deep insight into why the Bible is difficult to understand, and why Jesus chose to speak in parables. In Mark chapter 4, Jesus said, “The secret of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but to those on the outside everything is said in parables.” The Word is clear, but its meaning is hidden in figurative language, making it inaccessible to just anyone. What left the biggest impression on me was the fact that only when prophecy is fulfilled can the reality of the parable appear. As Jesus promised, at the time of His second coming, He would no longer speak in parables but explain plainly—and realizing that this time is now truly stirred my heart. The instructor explained how various parables in the Bible were actually fulfilled. For example, a stone symbolizes Jesus and the two wives r...

Shincheonji Online Seminar Review (Part 1) – The Path to Understanding the Bible

Hello! As a member of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, I have long sought to deepen my understanding of the Bible. After learning the Word in Shincheonji, I gained clarity on Revelation and the parables in the Bible, which transformed my faith. Recently, I came across the Shincheonji Online Seminar on YouTube and decided to revisit the lectures. Watching these teachings again, I was deeply moved, and I strongly recommend them to anyone who wants to truly understand the Bible. Since the seminar covers essential topics, I will be sharing what I learned in a series of posts. In this first entry, I will discuss the meaning of parables and why they are important. 📖 Why Did Jesus Speak in Parables? Many people wonder, "Why did Jesus speak in parables?" At first, I thought they were simply symbolic stories. But through Shincheonji’s teachings, I realized that parables contain God’s hidden plan, which is meant to be understood at the proper time. 🔹 The Reason for Parables In Matthew 13...
